Product Overview
The Pre-Terminated Outlet Kit (PTO) is engineered for rapid and straightforward installation in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Fiber to the Business (FTTB) deployments. This comprehensive solution includes a low-profile fiber optic outlet box pre-loaded with adapters, a pre-terminated cable length, and a convenient cable spool—all securely packaged within a protective carton.
With the PTO system, deploying the final drop cable and fiber optic outlet in FTTx installations becomes exceptionally efficient. Installers simply remove the spool-loaded cable from the packaging and mount the pre-terminated outlet directly to the wall. The outlet attaches securely using screws without requiring internal access that could disrupt the factory-terminated fiber connections. Alternatively, the PTO can be quickly snapped onto standard DIN rail systems.
PTO installation eliminates the need for specialized tools, advanced technical skills, or on-site termination and splicing processes. This results in significantly reduced installation time, lower costs, and decreased failure rates per customer deployment.
