GYTS-48X 48 Core Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable
Stranded loose tube light-armored optical cable suitable for outdoor duct, aerial (with supporting messenger wire), or direct burial installation.
Cable Construction & Design
Optical fibers are placed into high-modulus loose tubes filled with waterproof compound. A metal strength member with polyethylene copolymer coating provides excellent tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Tubes are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact, round cable core. The core is wrapped with double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) armor and extruded with UHMWPE outer sheath.
